Where Has Summer Gone?
It is already July. Where has the summer gone? I did manage to run away for a week. It was wonderful. I read and relaxed. I've been swimming regularly at the swimming hole. Yes, it really is a swimming hole. I get about an hour to an hour and a half in when I go. It's very relaxing.
I need to get back to work on my next book. I have stalled on chapter 11. This week I will probably not get to it as I have a lot of running to do. I have a appointment in Lansing on Tues. with a stop by my parents on the way home. I see the Dr. on Wed. for a general check up. I have a job interview on Thurs in the afternoon across the state. I will get the pleasure of staying with a friend on my way home. So, will not arrive back until Friday sometime.
School starts in a little over a month. I cannot say that I am looking forward to that. It seems like I just got out. I know that I have a week-end with my grandkids the first of August. They can tell me all about their trip to Disney World.
I am hoping to slip away again before I go back to work. We shall see. Rest, relax and take time for yourself.
